By installing or using ByteGuard Paste you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
ByteGuard Paste is a free Android client for the public paste service at paste.byte-guard.net. The app lets you post short text snippets, optionally protected by a password and an expiry window, and to view pastes you have created.
You agree not to use the app or the service to upload, share, or distribute:
We reserve the right to remove any paste from the server at our discretion, and to block IP ranges that abuse the service.
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Pastes may become unavailable at any time — through expiry, server cleanup, server outage, or removal. Do not rely on the service to store anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the app or the service. The total liability of the publisher to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed five (5) euros.
You retain all rights to text you post through the app. By posting a paste, you grant the service a non-exclusive license to host and serve that content publicly at its assigned URL for the duration of the chosen expiry window.
Your use of the app is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these terms.
We may update these terms. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions.
